Spotless units with the bathroom, fresh towels, for example, and the staff were professional. The location was fantastic, at a medium distance from Royal William Yard: D
Everything was just right.

The bed was comfortable and the room was generally clean
The service level is absolutely innadequate. The staff seems to try, but many things just aren't offered such as: Internet in the room (I had to go to the lobby to connect at all), Ironing board/Iron (they have ironing service, but only at certain times, no option to simply give me an iron). Food not offered all day (not night, I mean all day, from 3:00 to about 7:00pm there is nothing to eat) All together I would never stay here again, too much of a hassle.

handy to get to airport. About a 10 minute walk to the souk. The pool area is good.
a young reception staff member was rude. One of the waiters actually treats himself to some of your money. The restaurant offers a range of food but when you ask for something you get a choice of three things! One day they had a roast chicken, forgot to ask how much first and can you believe they charged 26€ for it, child's portion. Only thing going for this hotel was Cheb Bilal was the guest during the festival, he might have afforded the roast chicken. The "concierge" is friendly and courteous and was one of the waiters. The price was decent but the drink and food are way overcharged.

Location was awesome, across the street from Medina(old city) and 5 mnts from main street in city.
It's noisy after 10:00 pm as they've got a night club that runs every night up until 2:30 am, had to use my ear plugs to sleep, I was up in 2nd floor. Breakfast was pretty basic, you had to ask for almost any thing that runs out of buffet!!!

I like the friendly accommodating staff and the style of the hotel
The lobby floors being washed on check out at 8am made it very dangerous and slippery
